I am 65 years old and my dermatologist recommended that I start taking Heliocare as the studies have shown it helps aging skin. I have been taking one capsule daily since January 1 and I can see that my fine lines are less noticeable and my dark spots are fading. Helps in the Florida sun
My dermatologist told me that it gives an 8 SPF coverage, which is helpful, if you miss sunscreen coverage in places. I take Heliocare daily along with sunscreen, sun glasses , and a hat in the south Florida sun. My skin look healthy without sun spots.

I lived in South Florida most of my life.. Lucky me! My dermatologist recommended Heliocare when it first came in the market and I've used it religiously for probably 30 yrs. I use the plain Heliocare without added ingredients. Since I was an avid participant of boating and all manners of water sports, my fair skin was constantly exposed to the harsh sun. While Heliocare is not a replacement for topical sunscreen, I can honesty say it made a NOTICIBLE difference as an addition to a good SPF. With Heliocare, no pink ! It works!, It's relatively inexpensive! YAY Heliocare!

Love the extra protection.

I have been taking this daily for years. This helps to fade melasma and the antioxidant and sun protection can't hurt. I always wear sunscreen, and I can tell this product helps as well. I noticed the regular version helps more with melasma than the advanced, so I'm sticking with it.

I have melasma, so I use this as an extra layer of protection for my skin, along with my topical SPF. I like. the Heliocare Ultra, it's just too expensive, so I decided to give this one a try. I hope it's helping protect my skin. My one complaint is that is has cornstarch in it. I wish it's ingredient list was more "clean".

Heliocare for polymorphic light eruption
My dermatologist recommended Heliocare as I have a sun “allergy” called polymorphic light eruption (PMLE). Sunlight triggers and tensely itchy rash on my neck if I have not been out in the sun in awhile. It gets better with more exposure — so doesn’t usually affect my face though can. I am hopeful this will help. I am withholding a star until I’ve had some more time to see how well it works.

This oral supplement is great for photodamage from the sun. It helps protect from the inside out - you still need a sunscreen however! I am have fair skin and live in the desert and this has made a difference with the brown age spots! Wouldn't be without it!!

I bought this on the advice of my friend's dermatologist, not my own so I really don't know if I need it. However, I think my skin looks better even though I've been outside quite a bit in the sun. The only thing I'll say is that I ordered a 3-pack for the first time (rather than 1 bottle at a time) and the pills inside the bottles are in somewhat poor shape. I don't know if the shipping was too aggressive or what but the material inside the capsules coats the bottle and the other capsules so that I have a bit of a powdery mess every time I take one out.
