New to Heliocare and will stay the course
I read reviews of all skin and supplement products before buying and I tend to lean toward natural skin and health care items. Heliocare has been recommended by so many users and dermatologists. I am on my second bottle of Heliocare and can’t say I have noticed any changes. I am taking twice a day for the summer and will move to daily in fall through winter. I was a tanning bed junkie in late 80s to early 90s and at 53 had my first BCC removed on my thigh in February. I have been good about using sunscreen spf 30 and 50 when I am outside but feel the need for extra protection from free radicals by taking this supplement. I eat a healthy diet, exercise daily and very mindful of sun protection. I feel Heliocare will help in my battle against past and future sun damage. I will stay the course and see if I notice changes in my skin.

My sunscreen backup
I’m a sunscreen junkie anyway, so when I listened to a YouTube presentation on the benefits of Heliocare, backed by clinical studies, I decided to add Heliocare to my daily regimen. So, there’s really no objective way of seeing it work, and I’m certainly not going to take it without using sunscreen, so crossing my fingers and hoping the research is solid.

Added to my morning routine

So far so good!
I bought this because I saw Dr. Dray mention it on youtube and I figured it couldn't hurt. Obviously this doesn't replace sunscreen but it's nice to have for extra protection an a bit more peace of mind. I haven't had any bad side effects from it either so I will continue to purchase these.

Unsure If They Really Work
I got these when I was a month into my second round of accutane because I saw the reviews about others who were on that same medication that these worked for, but I can't say they really did anything. It's hard to tell because my dosage might have been stronger, but I always slathered sunscreen on before going into the sun, and without fail had a pinkish face at the end of the day.

Big aid in avoiding burns
Heliocare did a wonderful job of preventing a burn by working in the background. I hiked Rim to Rim in the Grand Canyon (26 miles, 11 hours, 4500 feet of elevation gain) in August and spent a week in the tropics. A daily dose of Heliocare in the morning did the trick (supplemented with sun tan lotion).

An extra sun protective measure
I use this during the hotter months because I want the extra antioxidant protection. Sunscreen is vital, but sometimes it can sweat off and honestly I want an extra boost with how strong the sun is during the hotter months. I wish it was cheaper but I think it's worth it during the summer.

Unexpected results
I had started to take Heliocare since we planned on visiting the beach a lot this year (to make up for last year) and I'm very fair skinned. I had taken Heliocare for a short time and accidentally burned my arm on an oven rack. The burn didn't react like any burn I've ever had before. First, it didn't "bubble" for a few days and even then, not very much. The skin stayed intact until it finally peeled off on its own with no tender, sore skin underneath. Scarring looks to be minimal and will no doubt fade quickly. Based on this experience, I'm completely sold on this product. If it could do this for my skin based on an actual burn, imagine what it could when I'm in the sun!!
