Nothing Better
This has been the first step in my daily makeup routine for years. I live in Phoenix, AZ and wouldnt think of leaving the house without sunscreen application. Other sunscreens leave my skin feeling greasy. Or, there is a fragrance that is too much to ignore. This sunscreen is lightweight and no lingering fragrance. Jan Marini daily face protectant has been the single product that has not fallen out my favorite things list for years.

I have used the Jan Marini skincare line for years, and while I like to try other product lines from time to time, this my "go to" sunscreen for my face. Its not oily, sticky or greasy and after it dries I cant tell Im wearing sunscreen (in other words, no unpleasant odor, as other sunscreens have). My make-up goes on smooth and easily. This is a product I will continue using until Jan Marini comes up with an even better product, if that is possible.

Sunscreen Search is Over!
My skin is notoriously volatile during the summer, which makes it difficult to find a sunscreen that doesnt irritate it or cause breakouts or give you a shiny face (theres dewy skin and then theres skin that looks reflective). This sunscreen has been a lifesaver! Smooth, doesnt stay on top of your skin, and best of all, no shine or white cast! Okay, actually the fact that I have not had any issues with breakouts with this sunscreen may beat the rest of those facts hands down! There is a slight fragrance, but it fades pretty quick and my sensitive skin hasnt had any issues with it. If youve tried countless brands and still havent found your sunscreen match, I recommend you trying this one.

I purchased Jan Marini Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant SPF 33 because I had received a free sample with an order. I loved it! When I use any heavy products on my face it tends to sweat. Especially with sunscreens. When I tried this product my face didn't feel coated. This product is so light it's like not having anything on plus when I put my makeup on it felt like I had a primer on my face. My makeup went on so smoothly. This is now my sunscreen of choice. I love it!

I received a sample of this sunscreen, but it was listed as spf 30 and waterproof. I was amazed how quickly my skin absorbed the lotion, leaving no residue. And it helped my primer go on even smoother. Not sure if JM switch from spf 30 to spf 33 (water resistant) is the same formulation, but it does not finish exactly the same. The lotion lingers on longer, and it doesn't absorb the oil my skin produces as much, but the fact that it does is the best thing of this or any other sunscreen. Wish it was the same as the former spf 30. This one is not OMG amazing! but still very nice.

I lovelovelove this sunscreen! At first I was worried the SPF 33 wouldn't be enough protection, but I soon discovered that I could definitely trust this quality product. Even in very strong sun this provides the perfect amount of protection so that I wouldn't be burnt, but also allows for a slight tan! Also note that this sunscreen will NOT break you out which is very important to me, since I have extremely sensitive and acne-prone skin.
