I usually love Jane Iredale products but this foundation did not wow me. I found it a bit thick and difficult to blend on my skin (which tends to be a bit on the dry side). After several attempts to use the foundation and to make myself love this product I decided it would just not work for me. I imagine since it has a matte finish it would be fantastic if your skin is more on the oily side.

Unattractive finish
What I like about Jane products is that they are also a skin treatment. I have used the mineral powder and mineral powder foundation for years and love them both. This product, once applied, seems to sink into the face, emphasizing lines, and the finish is simply not natural or appealing. I am giving two stars only for coverage.

I have been a faithful user of Jane Iredale foundations for many years. My preferred has been pure pressed powder but tried one of her liquid foundations few years back and did not like it. Decided to try Beyond Matte and can’t say that I am thrilled with it I don’t get the coverage I need and it settles into my wrinkles and I am constantly “patting” the creases where it”cakes” up. I use JI Smoith Affair primer prior to application. Can deal with coverage but not how it does with this senior citizens wisdom furrows

I use and enjoy many Jane Iredale products.If I'm buying something that has a color range,I usually order closer to the darkest....for I find her color range not running true to color in the darker hues.... I ordered the 2nd from the darkest color and it was so light that I actually returned it ...I know I can order products from Lovely Skin without worry, due to their customer satisfaction policy.
