Disappointing for Sensitive Eyes – Not Precise Enough
I have very sensitive eyes and generally love most Jane Iredale products—they’re usually gentle and high-quality. Unfortunately, this one missed the mark for me. The brush is much thicker than I expected, with frizzy bristles that feel rough. I was hoping for a thinner, finer point for precise application, especially around the eyes, but this brush is too bulky and imprecise. On top of that, it actually irritated my skin while applying the product. The formula itself also felt a little dry and didn’t blend as smoothly as other Jane Iredale items I’ve used. The color is not a potent black, you have to add more product to get a deeper color. I won’t be repurchasing this one. If you have sensitive eyes or need precision, I’d look for something with softer, finer bristles.

Difficult to use
There were no instructions. It is very dry. I can’t get any color on the fine tip to apply.

Wanted to love this
Based upon all the positive reviews I thought that this would be the eyeliner for me. Unfortunately, it smudges and smears, and I ended up with raccoon eyes after a couple hours of wear. It does work as a great smudged eye shadow which is what I have been using it for. I will continue using liquid eyeliners which seem to work best for me.

disappointing
Based on reviews, I'd hoped this eyeliner would work for me and not rub off onto my brow bone as most do (I have hooded eyes). But alas, although this eyeliner went on smoothly and looked nice, in a few hours it had transferred to my brow bone. Even using primer didn't help. Also, the brush is a nice thought but not really useful.
