PurePressed Powder Foundation in Honey Bronze
It is so difficult to color match foundation online. I thought I had done it perfectly. The Honey Bronze color went on my skin and was a perfect color until several hours later. I noticed my face was really hot pink looking at the end of the day.. I think the color must be oxidizing on me, and I don't know how to fix this. I have cool undertones and I have a light to medium complexion. I like this foundation. I love that it is a powder and doesn't sit in my fine lines, it feels light on my skin and covers the imperfections. If only I knew what color I need so it doesn't oxidize and turn red.

Iredale Disappoints
I was a little disappointed in my purchase of Jane Iredale Pure Pressed Mineral Foundation Refill. It looked like a smaller amount than previous refills, although it still fit into the compact. I thought the coverage was less than I'd hoped for. The very matte finish did not seem to compliment my decidedly mature skin. I think it settles into lines on my face. Overall an expensive disappointment.

pair with the foundation
I pair this powder with the foundation and it is the best coverage, so natural, and so smooth. The ingredients are amazing and I won't wear any other foundation other than Jane Iredale because of the quality. Pro tip: buy the refill, it's cheaper, and is the same product-just in plastic.

My go-to foundation
For years running now (15+) I’ve used this pressed base foundation. It’s easy to apply (I use their brush), covers perfectly quite instantly, but best of all it doesn’t breakout my super-sensitive skin AND it contains an SPF suitable for daily use (i.e. not planning to be out in the sun for too long.) It’s matte, so if I need a little bit more glow, I follow it with some sensitive skin formula glossers.

Amount of product cut for same price
I have been using this product for years. The last shipment was disappointing. While the refill fit the compact, it was not as deep as previous refills. The shallower refill was not as full as refills I had previously received. I am disappointed in Jane Iredale. I had heard of other companies changing packaging while charging the same price, but I didn't expect such a behavior from Jane Iredale.

Excellent product
I use this over the Jane Iredale foundation that is super light coverage. the one with all the tiny beads in it. I use that daily like a primer as it is so good for the skin and evens things out but not enough coverage. I also have used this mineral powder foundation over my other foundations for a flawless finish. It’s beautiful. Use a flat sided brush first time around when using over other foundations and just put a light layer straight down then go back and buff in with more added to a round brush. This way your first foundation won’t move around and is set perfectly. Enjoy!

Smooth and soft finish
I like this pressed mineral foundation very much. I was pleasantly surprised that the color was not at all too orangy but just right. The finish was soft and silky and not at all powdery. I applied this foundation with a flat foundation brush. I really liked the magnet device so it really stays put in the container. Make sure you order not just the refill like I did, if you don't already have the compact.

I rarely use foundation but this one when with properly selected shade can substitute any makeup one would use otherwise. It stays whole day , it has SPF 15/20 and when applied with a brush looks quite natural and better than one’s skin. Definitely part of my routine with skin applications.

My favorite for years!
I have used JI PurePressed base for many years. I most often use it for spot coverage; as a layer on top of light tinted moisturizers in shiny areas; and as an extra layer of sunscreen. I often spray a hydrating mist on top. It has the BEST finish and buildable coverage. I love that the ingredients are good for my skin as well. Lastly, it's terrific for mature skin!
