Smooth Eye Shadow
I love all of my eye products from Jane Iredale. I bought this to replace a discontinued color. While it isn't the color I was trying to replace, it does work with my eye color. It goes on smoothly and stays all day. I look forward to trying other colors.

Fabulous Eyeshadow
I recently purchased several Jane Iredale eyeshadows since I've been struggling with eczema on my eyelids. I've always known that their products are used in various medi spas and my dermatologist highly recommended them. This past winter my eczema really escalated and I've also developed syringoma on my one eyelid and I knew I needed to find eyeshadows that would be good for me to use and not cause irritation. I am totally amazed! I absolutely love them! The "french vanilla" shadow I apply to my lids and even with my eczema flair ups the eyeshadow looks flawless and covers over the eczema without any irritation and stays in place with no creasing or fading all day long. The finish has a creamy silky texture but it's in pressed powdered form. I've also purchased "sienna" to apply to the creases of my lids and it looks wonderful. I actually use the "dark suede " shadow for my eyebrows and the color is perfect. Definitely these eyeshadows were a game changer for me!

Very Pigmented
The pigment of this eyeshadow is great, very concentrated. The issues I have are the eyeshadow is very soft so you have to be careful when putting some on a brush or the eyeshadow in the case starts crumbling. Also I find the eyeshadow doesn't lasts on my eyelids and I have dry eyelids, not oily at all. Definitely not an eyeshadow I'd recommend.

I use this color (Supernova) almost daily. Jane Iredale shadows are pure, don’t crease, and are not too glittery which are often problematic for mature women as myself. I am also finding the new square compact a plus as it seems easier to store.

Change is part of life
I have been a total Jane Iredale customer for a solid thirteen years and have been through the discontinuing the my favourite mascara and blush shades and have worn Bone, Cappacino and Taupe and Dark Suede eye shadow without any events (sensitive eyes), The revised shadows were a bit of a challenge. The Bone in the previous formula was an off white which became yellow and the new formula irritated my eyes. An application left a heavy weighted down scratch feeling. I will add that although I cannot wear the new formula the colour was extremely intense. All good things will eventually come to an end and we experience with the future.

Allure / Not the same
The Allure eye shadow that comes in the newer packaging (shown in picture) is NOT the same shade as the Allure that comes in the round gold container. It has more of an orange tint. Not as "neutral" as the original.

New color
I miss the softness of the Jane Iredale “cream” color eye shadow that has been discontinued. This “oyster” shade is the closest color to “cream”. It’s a bit darker/bolder. The new packaging is an improvement over the old one.

I have used Jane Iredate products for years!
I wanted to order the face powder and luckily they still have my color!! Very happy about that. But I really needed more of the PurePressed Eye Shadow. They no longer carry the ‘TAUPE’ I loved! So I had to order 3 different colors to see what was closest. When I received them I was very disappointed that 2 of them were shiny & only one was matte. Shiny is for youth & I’m older now. I would like to recommend that you say whether the eye shadows are shiny or matte. I would then have been able to focus spending my money on buying more of the matte…. Now I only have one new eye shadow & am stuck with 2 I can’t use.
