I love Jane Iredale foundation powder. I have been using the powder for quite a few years and over the years that I've used the powder I've had to order a few compacts because the plastic keeps breaking at the hinges. I loved the old compacts vs these new plastic ones. I wish they would go back to the old compacts or something constructed like them from what they are currently selling.

So disappointed
I just wanted a nice compact I could carry in my purse to powder my nose and refresh my makeup. I was annoyed. Imagine when I found out it doesn’t even have an applicator so it’s useless for taking with you a complete waste of money. What’s the point of having a compact if it doesn’t even come with a puff for applicator? And I can’t even fit one if you buy one separate.

I personally feel like I should have to buy an empty compact if I'm purchasing the foundation. It's great that you have the option to refill once you've used the foundation, but they force you to spend extra to put their foundation into their compact. In my opinion this is price gouging.

Needed an additional compact to keep in my makeup bag. I have several of the gold and silver which are really nice, but I like the weight and shape of the newly designed compact more. Less likely to slip out of my hand and fall breaking up the refills. Yes, I drop things a lot. Lol

Very Sharp Edges
Be careful with this compact.. The edge on either side of the hinge is sharp. I scratched my wrist on it reaching into my purse. I wouldn’t have purchased this if I’d known about this problem. And keep it away from children. They could easily hurt themselves if they pick it up. Poorly made.
