I like the lipstick as far as the way it lasts. I just find that the colors on the website are not true. The colors I have ordered look pink on the models. But there is more brown in the pink than shows online. Does not look good on me.

Wonderful shade and texture!
I love this product! The shade is beautiful and the application is smooth and comfortable. And a big deal for me is NO fragrance or odor of any kind. This product passes that test at 100%! The one drawback is that the product is so soft it has broken at the base. I'm pretty careful with lipsticks around this issue but still the product has shifted and makes it more challenging to use.

This lipstick has long lasting in its name but really doesn’t live up to it. It is however moisturizing. I gave it four stars because in comparison to other similar lipsticks it goes on smoothly and doesn’t feel waxy. It feels natural on. I chose the shade Jackie and I absolutely love the color.

Nice lipstick
I am 49 and have plenty of lip lines for lipstick to feather into, which is why I tend to stick with gloss or sheer coverage lip color in a light shade. This lipstick is moist, doesn't run directly into my lip lines and sets with a matte finish. The color I chose , Stephanie, was a bit light for my fair skin, brown hair and blue eyes and I decided I could not wear the shade on its own. However, when I apply it with any kind of lipliner and then top it with a sheer color, it gives me better lip coverage than just a gloss and lasts longer. It is worth purchasing if you are like me, and want to have a lipstick "look" on some occasions, and are willing to put in a few extra application steps to achieve it. Let's face it, daytime lip gloss doesn't really cut it when you want to look more done up!

The only reason I didn't give this lipstick 5 stars is because of the price. It is hydrating, doesn't feather, and stays on a reasonable amount of time. It has the right amount of opaqueness for me--a matte look without being one dimensional. The magnetic case is a plus.

I wanted to love this lipstick–because I love almost all of JI's products. The color selection is nice, and "Sharon" is a great neutral for my pale skin and red hair. However, the lipstick is dry and doesn''t go on as smoothly as I would like. The solution, for me, is to use JI's Lip Drink (no color) first, which also provides the SPF that my dermatologist insists that I use. The Lip Drink helps the lipstick glide, although it doesn't last as long.
