Love everything about the Koh Gen Do Cleansing Spa Water. I must admit I was skeptical about purchasing "spa water, " but it is wonderful for my sensitive skin. I use it in the morning as my method of cleansing and use it in the evening as a secondary cleanser to remove makeup and grime from the day. No oil and no fragrance is a definite plus and the fact that it is the only cleansing water that I found to contain lactic acid was a selling point for me! Will continue to purchase and recommend to friends and family!
I have recently switched back from using Klorane Soothing Face and Eye Makeup Remover and I prefer Koh Gen Do Cleansing Water. I use KGD plus my cotton pads every morning to wash my face instead of using cleanser and tap-water and my skin looks great! I'm convinced Koh Gen Do is the best cleansing water.
Love this product. I have been using it for years
I washed my face way too much, morning and night with various types of face washes out there over many years. I am learning now that all we need are products like this one to clean our face and neck and eyes. It takes off eye makeup very well, face base, spf and makeup. I like to use the big cotton pads and just gently have a go. My skin feels better than when I was using all the fancy washes out there. Try it and you will maybe change your routine too! I happen to have dry skin, but I can't imagine any type would be amiss.
My daily face products are sunscreen and concealer daily and a bb cream/foundation on some days. I used to use a cleansing cream followed by a second foam cleanser to completely wash my face at the end of a day. But I began to have clogged pores and closed comedones on my face and that's when I thought of switching to a micellar water. This Koh Gen Do micellar water is extremely gentle but quite effective. It never leaves behind any residue and isn't oily like some micellar waters. I feel that rather than spending a lot of money on expensive cleansing balms that contain fatty alcohols which clog my skin, it is much better to splurge on a good quality cleansing water. I use Shiseido cotton pads along with this water and it has really livened up my evening routine. If you don''t wear heavy makeup, then this is the most effective and least work intensive method! I love that this is fragrance free and only full of stuff good for my sensitive skin (like lactic acid). I have already bought a back up and will purchase again from LovelySkin thanks to their amazing sales and free shipping. No other website has discounts on Koh Gen Do cosmetics (other than Black Friday sales). This is the Rolls Royce of micellar waters and it is definitely worth a shot if you need convenience, simplicity and great results.
I love this cleansing water! I use it to take of my eye makeup/mascara. It doesn't sting even if it gets into your eyes!
My favorite cleansing water. It is gentle enough to use multiple times a day, but it is still strong enough to work wonders removing makeup, especially eyeliner and mascara. I have sensitive eyes and it never irritates them. I always have a backup so I don't run out!
I have been using this for years and am thankful Lovely Skin started carrying it. I wear very heavy eye makeup. Dark shadow, dark liner and mascara. Put some on a cotton pad, hold on the eye for a few seconds, and it removes most of the makeup. Obviously for a very clean eye you need to go back a second time. But that goes without saying for any product. It is not greasy or oily. I have had Lasix surgery and have got this in my eye without any irritation. Seems to be not as effective as you get to the very bottom of the bottle but if that is the worst aspect of the product, the downside is outweighed by the benefit.
