What is the difference between 50 and 60.....
The difference is normal, combination and oily skin. The 50 product was too drying for my normal combination skin. The product was too drying on my aging skin. I loved the thin fluid product and the matte look.

Great Protection for your Face
I like to use La Roche-Posay mineral sunscreen for my face when I'm working outside. It has a bit of whitening and can be a bit shiny so I don't normally use it under makeup, but I do feel it gives better protection than other sunscreens when I'm working outside. I notice when I spend time in the sun while wearing this sunscreen I don't freckle as I do with other sunscreens so I like using this.

I like it very much, it is really a very light sunblock. I have a non-tinted one, so there is some white cast present but it is much better than any other mineral non-tinted sun blocks that I have tried . The sunblock in question is OK for everyday application to go around and run your errands. It does not leave stains on your clothes. However, next time I will get a tinted version of the same, I tried a sample and it is a very good light beige tone for a rather light white skin, this shade of beige looks very natural on me, a little bit shiny though....

I have used this product for over 5 years after my dermatologist recommended it to me for daily use. It is very light , application is so easy and a little goes a long way. Even though it is relatively expensive compared to other sunscreens, it lasts a very long time, often as long as 6 months or so. I have recommended it to others in my family and they have also used it for years with no complaints. It does a great job of protecting from sunburn ! This is a great product.

This sunscreen leaves a white cast. It does go on matte, which is great with no shiny or greasy look, but even after 20 minutes the white cast was clearly there - probably about 45% still there.

Not my fave but a solid option for many people
It's okay. Definitely still a little bit of a white cast when you use the full 1/4 teaspoon amount for face, it lessens after it's "set" but still there. And I'm a very pale person. I find the white cast pretty annoying with blending it into my hairline, too--makes me look like I have gray hair. Also have found I have to be careful with which moisturizer I apply beforehand as I've had a lot of "pilling" happen with some combinations. Still, I like how matte the finish is and I think it would be a good option maybe for a very pale person who prefers to use a mineral product. It has that nice upside of a mineral sunscreen in that you can put it really close around your eyes and not feel any irritation!

Untinted mineral sunscreen
I have sensitive, redness prone, normal-to-dry skin with acne rosacea. This Untinted Mineral Sunscreen is one of the best. It's very light, not greasy, and doesn't cause breakouts. The Tinted version is a little too dark for fair skin but the Untinted blends in well. It's perfect as a primer under foundation too.
