Great Cleanser
I needed a cleanser with medication in it to help clear my blackheads around my chin and nose. The lather is really nice with tiny bubbles and I really enjoy the natural smell, like eucalyptus. Most of my blackheads extracted out within the first use without irritation. I took one star off because its really thin and the packaging makes it easy to waste product.

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Medicated Gel Cleanser
I love this face wash. It has definitely helped with my acne and blackheads. It's a creamy and foamy texture. No fragrance which is why I love La Roche-Posay. Only con is I wish this bottle had a pump like their other face cleansers bottles. The lid can get a little messy. But the product itself is amazing!

just as good as the cream cleanser, but medicated. helps with breakouts. the bottle is huge considering you don't need a lot when you use it. just be careful because the product runs out of the bottle quickly, so keep it level or almost level to get it out. leaves your skin gorgeous, and with continued use, decreased breakouts. I keep it in the shower and even use it on my shoulders which can be problem areas for me.

Great Cleanser
Years ago my teenage son had this recommended by his dermatologist. So when I began having some issues with adult whiteheads forming under my skin I wanted a gentle product with salicylic acid. This cleanser fits the bill! Worked like a charm and no more whiteheads. Gentle and non-drying. A great skin clearing/cleansing product.

Great cleanser, wish it didn't have menthol
I use this every night after double cleansing and it works great, even on my body. I just hope they'd remove the menthol because it's a bit irritating sometimes.

This cleanser is a sweet treat for acne-prone skin peeps. Salicylic acid is best used in cleanser from, so I've been told, and I would always prefer La Roche-Posay products given their reputation. From my two weeks of use, this cleanser can be a little drying, so I am using it with a different moisturizer in the mornings, and Biossance rose oil + benzoyl peroxide treatment gel at night.

Con: Be careful when opening the container the product will "spill out". I have not used this product long enough to determine the long term effectiveness of it in combating acne.

Using La Roche-Posay Effaclar Medicated Gel Cleanser is an effective way for me to help control light breakouts on my face while removing the oil from my oily skin. As with the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Deep Cleansing Foaming Cream that I use, it only takes a little to clean your face so one tube lasts a long time. If I had a complaint about the Gel Cleanser, it would be that I wished it foamed up a little more when scrubbing. I guess I'm a little jaded by the Deep Cleaning Foaming Cream which I love.
