Fabulous winter cream
I received a sample of this cream with an order. I tried it on my 55 year old, freckled, good condition skin that has been dried out a bit from this cold New England fall. The cream is a bit thick, so you do not need a lot. However, it feels wonderful when applied and does sink in. I used it at night, and when I woke up, my skin felt hydrated and soft. I bought the cream and later used it on my body, when the temps dropped to freezing. It made my skin feel soft and hydrated and it is my new winter body/face cream. The regular Lipikar is great for spring an summer, and the AP is perfect for the fall/winter. La Roche-Posay products continue to impress me. High-quality and a great price from LovelySkin.com.

Intense repair moisturizer

Truly a healing lotion
After decades of working outside, my skin is chronically dry. No over-the-counter product has ever proven itself too light, too greasy, too ''smelly." I received a sample of the Lipikar Balm with an order. I tested it on my arms, then on my face. This product, in my opinion, is the perfect consistency and works really well. I bought the 13.52 oz. bottle with my next order and plan to buy two more for the winter months. This is my new favorite L-P product!

Great winter body lotion
I would categorize this as a heavy-duty moisturizer for body because the consistency is more like a cream than a lotion, so it's on the occlusive side. Great body lotion for sensitive and dryer skin (or normal skin in dry environment). I also like the niacinamide in it as it helps brighten my skin. The big bottle and the pump makes it a great value and a huge convenience for applying right out of the shower. The only downside is it tends to be a little sticky if I use too much. I probably won't use this in the summer (will consider the lighter version of this).

Lipikar Balm
I am so glad LovelySkin is selling this product again! I have frequent eczema outbreaks on my elbows, knees, and hands. I use a steroid cream to control the flare-ups, but once they are well controlled, I use Lipikar Balm every night in those areas and it greatly decreases the amount of flare-ups. I have dealt with eczema for years and have tried multiple different products, and this is the one (as well as FixMySkin Healing Balm) that is definitely worth the money!

I received a good-sized sample of this and didn't read the label closely enough to see that it could be used on body and face. I assumed it was a face cream and used it that way (diluting my tinted sunscreen so that it applied better and was less tinted). A lot of products make me break out and this didn''t! I found it on LovelySkin, liked the price, so ordered it. The bottle is huge, my face and hands love it, and no break outs. What''s funny is that if I had read that it was a body lotion too, I probably wouldn't have even tried it on my face - so glad I didn't read it! :)

Very nice lotion/cream
The Lipikar Balm is very soothing to dry, old skin! Not greasy and great for facial use. In the morning, my skin feels very soft and calm. I am 69 with dry, sensitive skin. Still, I don't like heavy creams or lotions. This balm is also nice for the whole body and is a great value. I plan to continue using it.

Coincidentally, a couple of days later, I neglected to apply sunscreen to my shoulders (because I originally planned to wear a sleeved blouse and changed my mind after applying sunscreen - duh!). I saw the "Repair" in the name and applied it to the sunburn and was astounded at how well it healed the sunburn that otherwise would have been a bad scene. Best Cream Ever!
This moisturizing cream is the best I have ever used bar none. I have sensitive skin, and before I tried it, I was breaking out in rough scaly patches on my face and neck. After using it those have gone away. The fact that you can use it on both face and body is remarkable, I use it on both every day and it does not make my face break out. It also provides long-lasting healing moisture–can't say enough good things about this lotion.

Great for dry skin
I have used the regular Lipikar lotion for years and wanted to try the new Lipikar AP. The consistency is thicker and perfect for drier areas like feet, elbows and hands. I use it all over my body right out of the shower, so it will absorb quickly. If you have dry skin I highly recommend.

My super dry skin needs intense moisture, but this feels almost suffocating on my body. Fine for hands and feet, or face right before sleep. It does work, but so does the lighter lotion form.
