No Noticeable Improvement
I have super oily skin and have tried countless moisturizers over the years. This one would rate as average. It didn't hurt my sensitive skin but I also didn't see any improvements. Formula is lightweight and absorbs quickly.

Fantastic But Pills With Sunscreen
If I'm going out at night, this is the #1 moisturizer I want to wear. It leaves a beautiful matte finish and is very soothing to the skin. But it has pilled when I use it with my mineral sunscreen, which I found very disappointing. I do not get the sunscreen pilling when I use other moisturizers.

Seems too drying alone for me, but better mixed
I wanted to try the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair Matte Moisturizer as the original one felt too occlusive/slimy to me, I think due to the higher silicone content. This matte version unfortunately feels much too drying for my skin when used alone. However, I LOVE LOVE the La Roche-Posay Lipikar AP+M Triple Repair Body Moisturizer For Dry Skin, but it is a bit too oily for the face for daytime, so I have found that some of this matte moisturizer mixed with the triple repair cream is perfect for the face!

Matte up to a certain point
ATTENTION PEOPLE WITH OILY SKIN: Here is our reality....there is NO one product that will get rid of or prevent our oily skin. Nothing at all. I've tried countless products for years, and at best, I keep getting the same result...which is, my face is matte or shine-less for an hour (maybe 2), then the oil/shine starts breaking through. This product follows suit. The only advice I can give is that people like us MUST always carry oil-blotting sheets, and use them once the oil/shine starts to show. I use this moisturizer, and by lunch time, I use my blotting sheet. If I have plans right after work, I use another blotting sheet. That's our life with oily skin, and that's the reality.
