Gentle wash
I purchased this product as a facial wash. It is gentle, as expected. Doesn’t dry out my skin. I would say it is equivalent to a cheaper drugstore brand.

Good, But Not Great
One of the first face washes I've found with decent active ingredients that doesn't irritate my skin as much as others. It still irritates sometimes, though. I wish La Roche-Posay product formulators would do more R&D to deposit ingredients with less irritation. Also, "Thermal Water" is just a flat scam. Not a fan of seeing pseudoscience shadiness in my products. I'd rather the product just focused on science. 4/5.

Gentle on my skin
I have been searching for a cleanser that does not dry my already dry skin out. This does not foam up or create a lather like traditional face cleanser but it will get your face clean. I generally have to use it twice for my eye makeup, once to loosen it all up and other time to get the makeup off. This is a good purchase, I would recommend for anyone with dry skin.

Not what I expected
I thought this was a foaming cleanser, I bought it to remove makeup without drying my skin. It did an ok job except for eye makeup, and it irritated my eyes a bit. I know this is a cleanser for dry skin, so if you like cream cleansers this would be perfect. I'll give it to a friend. La Roche Posay makes great products , this one just wasn't right for me.

Removes make up
Great cleanser. Super gentle, not drying, etc. Switched to this after oil cleansers were giving me milia. To take off make up, its best to put this on dry skin, like an oil cleanser, then wash off. I often follow up with a gel cleanser but my skin still feels very clean without this step!
