Wanted to love this product
I really wanted to love this product. The fragrance and overall texture of the product are why I give this a 1-star. I didn't realize that it was product with fragrance and it is potent! I have been on a hunt for a alternative or alternating Vitamin C serum. I typically use a vitamin C product from a different brand, but it is not always within in the budget. I decided to try alternating. I have tried a few products and this was one of them. Again, I was hoping to love this product as my alternate but due to the smell and the tacky like texture I can't even use it.

I can’t tell if this is effective, because I just don’t like using it. It’s thickened and goopy, sticking to the inside of the dropper and around the bottle cap, making a yucky dark color when it dries. For me the smell is a little off-putting; for vitamin C I’m used to citrusy smells if any is added, or the natural fragrance of whatever herbaceous ingredient, but I prefer no fragrance.

Love!
I started using vitamin c serums a few years ago to help with my acne scarring so I have tried many! I always end up coming back to this one because I love the consistency of it and it smells very good. The only thing I don’t like is it tends to turn orange pretty fast from the oxygen getting into the bottle. I’m not sure if that affects anything though.

This is a good projduct for anyone who isn’t sensitive to vitamin c or salicylic acid. It exfoliates very well. I could definitely see a difference. However, for me it was too much due to my sensitivity.

Best product for the cost
I’m convinced La Roche-Posay offers the absolute best value. The products are super effective and affordable. This serum is potent and was a needed addition to my skincare routine. I’ve stopped wearing it under makeup because it does turn a bit orange in the sun, but I will continue to wear it weekly.

Excellent serum
I’ve been using this for a few weeks and can see a difference in my skin. It is brighter and clearer. It is a thicker serum so it is easier to apply. I have not noticed anything negative about the dropper so maybe they improved it. I am in my 50’s with combination skin. Would definitely recommend.

I bought this vitamin C to my husband he like it because its a good moisturizer for the day but I give 4 stars because in his brown spots it’s not doing anything yet he’s using this vitamin C for 3 weeks but I hope it helps with his brown spots in the future with more time.

Time Will Tell
This producr was recommended to me by my dermatollogist. It has a very nice consistancy. I have only used it a few weeks but at this point I'm not sure if I see any difference. I don't like the dropper because the product does not flow easily out of it and i feel like I'm going through the bottle faster than I would like. Like my title I have to give it more time to see if it makes a difference on my skin.

I have used other Vit C serums although never religiously. I am 63 and take good care of my skin. I bought this based on several good reviews. I’m so happy I bought this product. I will continue to buy this. It truly makes my skin glow! I do recommend storing in a cabinet and make sure you close the bottle tightly. I think the price is good and not to expensive.
