I have larger pores and oily skin. First time purchasing this item I was again skeptical but I decided to still purchase for the 10% Vitamin C and pretty much i'll take any help I can get at this point with this new age I’m in (34) As soon as I applied this to my freshly washed face, my skin absolutely absorbed all this goodness. This subtle but sooo amazing scent that it has just wakes me up and immediately makes me feel great! With one one week my skin felt so smooth! So imagine this after a nice face mask!? Yesss! I really enjoy this product and it’s amazing scent. I do recommend to not use at night time. I did the first time I purchased and it did end up staining my pillow cases with the orange color. (just and FYI) overall love this product!

I'm not sure if I have noticed a significant improvement on my skin, but this is a nice product with good texture, a good application system and a pleasant smell. It dries very quickly, leaving the skin hydrated but not sticky.

I really love this serum. Leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. It hasn’t helped much for blemishes and fine lines yet but my skin definitely feels smoother so its a start and maybe just needs time. If your looking primarily for blemish control I recommend the Effaclar serum which is awesome too.

Odor unbearable, texture unappealing
I can't speak to the efficacy of this product because I only used it for 2 days. First, the consistency is gooey/sticky. Not sure why they provide a dropper as its too gloppy. What's really awful is the smell. Its an acrid chemical odor, and it doesn't go away when it dries! Two days is all I could take.

Could be better
I decided to try this Vit C serum because I have been pleased with other LRP products. I am half way through the bottle and have not noticed much improvement in my skin. The price point is great which was another reason why I tried it. Other Vit C serums cost twice as much. The dropper is ineffective and over time the rim of the bottle becomes sticky with orange residue. Fragrance is OK. I think I will return to my other serum.

Better than most
Overall, good product! Some of the reasons why the 4 stars is the consistency and smell. Product is kind of thicker than most, the stopper used causes the product to skim on the edge and overflow on the sides of the bottle. The smell is ok, I have smelled worst. I just really love the Vit C! and am willing to sacrifice the small inconveniences for a quality product.

I was excited to try this product because I have used other products from the La Roche Posay brand for years so I had high expectations. But unfortunately it is heavily fragranced and so much that I had to wash my face after using it because I couldn’t handle the smell. I don’t think I will be using it again and it was a complete waste of my money. It wasn’t cheap either.

Amazing value for a Vitamin C serum
I previously used a different Vitamin C serum that cost more than $100 per bottle. I loved it b/c it worked so well, but I wanted to try something a little less pricey. Enter La Roche-Posay. For a fraction of what I was paying, I get the same great results from a Vitamin C serum. I use this in my morning skin care routine and a hyaluronic serum in my evening routine. If you are looking for a Vitamin C serum, definitely give this one a try.
