Great shadow sticks
I really like these shadow sticks; they blend so easily. You can use your finger or a brush if you like. They seem to have dimensional color even when I apply just one shade on my lid, it seems to give different depth and dimension to my eyelid. They blend nicely, giving you enough playtime —and then set up and last all day without creasing. I don’t use a primer underneath it. My only problem with these is that they are delicate and can break or crumble easily—even in shipping the stick can break off inside the tube.

Nice product but the color?
The definition of amethyst: a violet or purple color. This is not a true "Amethyst." On the skin, this shade is a brown with very subtle purple highlights on light skin. The label for the color is misleading.

Easy Applicatioon
I have tried several stick eye shadows. I have been disappointed that they do not usually last well. However, the Laura Mercier stick is much, much better in that respect. Also, the colors are very nice.

Easy to use
this is a great - one swipe-out the door product. Picking a color was tough. I picked strapless and it is too rosy brown for my taste - but it is "ok" I think a gray or purple would have been better for my hazel eyes. I do like the concept and the ease of the stick and might try the amethyst color next time.
