I purchased the LovelySkin LUXE Acne Care Kit. This is one of the products in the kit. This was given to a teenager who did not use it as consistently as he should have. This worked initially and then it started to taper off in effectiveness. I'm sure my skin got used to it. Burns a bit if you have any cuts or abrasions on your skin. I've used the remainder of the product on my decollete area and I seem to be getting better results there in hydration, keeping acne at bay and actually helps with wrinkles a bit.

This product has an AHA base, which assists in reducing acne. If you have tried other products with BA and salicylic acid with little success, I would recommend adding this to your regime. I have adult acne (nodulocystic) and this gel is great for healing large, red, painful acne lesions. It can be a bit drying, especially for those who have sensitive skin, so be sure to moisturize if you want to reduce the appearance of white flakes. My husband also loves this and, even though it is practically impossible to get him to adhere to a regular skin care regimen, he always asks to use this when he gets occasional breakouts.
