Like the texture
I have had a hard time using retinol creams. I have used prescription at the lowest dose and they all make me flake. I have tried starting once a week for mo th then add a day and use moisturizer and I still flake. This retinol goes on well and I flaked a little but not near as much. I haven't seen any improvement with my skin yet so hopefully I will with more time.

Lovely, Layering Cream
I bought this OBAGI cream a year ago (June) and tried it but ended up using it mostly in the late fall and winter. The strength of this formulation is being gentle (due to the chamomile extract among other things), playing nice with other face oils & serums, and containing a mild dose of retinol for people with sensitive skin, or who are looking for a starter/maintenance formulation. I applied at night and noticed modest textural improvements in fine forehead lines with consistent use, and felt the pump dispensed the right amount of product per application. Always take time to rub night creams in with facial massage, it feels good and makes a difference! Still have the tube and box and was surprised to recently get a final couple of full pumps out. Probably worth it to open the end of the tube for one final application before disposal; don't forget applying to the backs of your hands, if you ever end up with excess cream on them. Yesterday, purchased a different brand 1% retinol from LovelySkin to try next.

Solid product
I like it. My face cannot tolerate prescription strong retinol, so I decided to use something less strong. This one seems to work. It doesn’t make face super dry, if you are sensitive to retinol I would use every other day to let your skin to get used to.
