Too orange & sticky
I really wanted to love this based on the great reviews! However, I hate it so much. First impression was that it is too sticky and feels even thicker than my foundation. I started applying it with a makeup brush to see if that helped, but it's still so greasy. The color is also too much - it makes me look orange. Even my husband commented on it. I was hoping for something that would match any skin tone and not really "show up" like makeup does. I have pretty light skin, especially in the winter, but even the "cool" color is too orange.

Got this as a sample and shared it with my Mom (74). Here is her review: "I do love makeup to enhance my facial smoothness; however, I had dropped to only wear full makeup once weekly as my everyday routine is the gym and yoga life that I practice 5 days weekly. I’m not using any kind of sunblock if it’s not Obagi whatever shade it is I combined mineral and tint to much my skin tone it’s not dry and make my skin look fresh and glossy. That’s my favorite sunblock of all that’s why I felt desperate when you stop selling it for so many months and happy that’s back in the market and now I had one and happily using it. I am so happy the Obagi Sun Shield is back. I have always used this product until it wasn't available for about a year. I purchased other product during that time, but was not happy with how it applied onto my face. Obagi Sun Shield is just the right consistency. It is smooth, rich and silky going onto the skin. It is thicker, but not too thick that you would need to apply an additional moisturizer. It's perfect. Thank you Obagi for finally bringing back the Sun Shield!

Not as good as my last tube
I wont be buying this again as it's not as good as my last tube. Specifically it feels much less creamy and I don't feel the same consistency or thickness in coverage. Almost runny. Don't know if it's a bad tube or if they changed the way they make it. When something works great, why change it. Will miss the old version.
