I required prednisolone for the red, irritated bumps all over my face. Took 2 weeks to overcome. Horribly itchy. Poison ivy was not even this bad. Can no longer use product.

Triggered irritation; foul scent reaction on me
I finished a course of Tri-Luma and started tretinoin 0.05%. After a few weeks of using the tretinoin alone, I mixed in this Blend Fx per the instructions. After the first night, I woke up with some redness and irritation, similar to when I first started using Tri-Luma before adjusting to it. I suspect that I am as sensitive to arbutin as I am with the hydroquinone in Tri-Luma, so an adjustment period with pre-moisturizing was warranted for me. Also, the cream itself has little scent by itself, but as with a few other reviewers, it produces a foul odor (like foot odor, or old fish) when mixed with tretinoin on my skin. I've never experienced anything else like it. It faded away as it dried down, so I thought I could deal with it, but after a few days, I simply could not tolerate the ritual, given the redness and irritation I was also experiencing. I will be looking for another option.

I used this product as suggested (in combination with Obagi 1% retinol) and saw no reduction in brown spots on my face. I do not recommend it. I used both products on a regular basis (and until empty) and saw no results.
