Consistent use is the key
My skin always has an extra glow after about 3 weeks to a month of using this. Whenever my skin feels dull and I think about what has changed (during Covid for example) I remember how much I like this. I use it nightly alone over a serum or two or as my final step (it can pill then, so I rub it in minimally). This does not work in the AM with simple sunblock over it. It gums up something terrible.

I started the full Obagi regimen 4 months ago. I am now on maintenance and I plan to use Exfoderm every day for many years to come. I NEVER want to stop using this product. This product has a wonderful non-greasy silky feel to it. The lotion exfoliant is so hydrating that I am able to use this as my morning moisturizer. I've switched my normal regimen that seems to be super effective for smooth, glowing skin in order to try this product directly after my Skinceuticals CE Ferulic in the morning, followed by my sunscreen. I have also added the Blend FX at night, mixing it with my Retin A. I have not been thrilled so far. My skin seems duller now but it has only been 2 weeks. For many, many years I have used Retin A RX nightly and a 20% glycolic weekly (when I'm not using Retin A that night) I found this product over my CE Ferulic to cause slight peeling. I had to stop using it for 3-4 days. I have been using it daily for about 2 weeks and have not noticed better skin however I plan to try to keep up with the regime for 3 months or so or until it runs out. I'm still hesitant to rave about this product until I see a difference. I'm sort of looking forward to going back to my old regimen. I hope to update a review after a few months.
