I have been using Obagi products for years and have found the Gentle Cleanser to be non-irritating on my sensitive and acne-prone skin. The cleanser foams nicely and rinses easily without leaving residue. I have found it to feel a little drying which is reason for 4 stars but followed with the Obagi toner and a good moisturizer I don't mind. I have tried other cleansers but return to Obagi because it is gentle, non-irritating and a good price point (especially with LovelySkin occasional discounts).

I love this gentle cleaner! I have always used SkinMedica Sensitive Skin Cleaner and never really got that nice lathered up feeling from the SkinMedica. I use all SkinMedica products as part of my routine but this actually won me over. I would highly recommend using this on Sensitive Skin or even non-sensitive skin. I decided to try this cleanser and I'm on my second bottle, still not super in love with it. I don't notice any scent like some reviewers. My main issue is that I don't care for the actual bottling of the product. I prefer a cleanser with a flip lid or one that doesn't take long to pop back on....I'm usually in a hurry and leave the lid off! Also prefer a product with a pump or one that stores upside down so the product is readily dispensed as use it up. It is kind of like a thick gel that spreads easily, rinses easily, no residue, doesn't dry me....
