Super beneficial after cleansing
I have been on the entire Nu Derm system for going on 2 years and I have found this step to be very crucial to bringing back my skins moisture balance after cleansing. It is so refreshing to swipe a cotton pad of this toner all over my face and neck after step #1. My skin is instantly softer. Important to note, Id stopped using this step for budget reasons for a good 4 months. No kidding, my adult acne returned due to the over compensating my skin had to do to after washing, even with the gentlest cleanser. My skin missed out on getting balanced before receiving the other products, and it produced more oil, which clogged my pores, which brought back the painful pimples. Sure, the other steps still helped my complexion, but starting my routine with unbalanced skin made it much harder to realize positive results. This toner is a must.

My favorite toner for the last 8 years.

Great Toner
In general, I am not a fan of toner, but thought I would give this a try since it says it will prepare my skin for the other Obagi products. I was so surprised- this toner does not dry out my skin! It removes any traces of makeup that did not wash off with the cleanser (which is practically nothing because the cleanser is awesome!). After using the cleanser and toner, my skin feels super clean and refreshed.

Best toner for me
I cannot say anything bad about the Obagi toner. It is a mild, non-irritating toner that works great for me. I first started using it on my face and neck, then later decided to give it a try on my chest as well. It works great! I used to have acne breakouts on my chest and now my chest is clear and glows. I use the Obagi Foaming Gel cleanser, then toner, followed by Obagi Clear fx morning and night. In the am I will of course follow everything with sunscreen (currently using the Obagi360 Hydrafactor on chest and neck only and EltaMD for face). Love this product and will definitely reorder.
