Obagi Professional-C Peptide Complex-Recommended by My Aesthetician
As a big Obagi fan for over a decade - this was the one product I had not tried. The Obagi Professional-C Peptide Complex was suggested by my Aesthetician, who originally directed me to Lovely Skin years ago to purchase skin care / cosmetic products. Although a bit expensive, I decided to give it a try in an attempt to further enhance the production of collagen through the amino acids (peptides) with the goal of helping to firm the facial / neck skin. I have been using the product for approx a month now. Initially, there was a bit of a breakout, but this dissipated after the 2nd week. My skin appears to be a bit firmer particularly around the mouth, nasal labial area, and outer areas of the eyes. However, from everything I've read about the use of peptides on the skin, it takes a few months to see visible results from the collagen production.

I've been using Obagi Professional-C Peptide Complex every other morning for almost four weeks, and I can clearly see an improvement in the overall appearance of my skin. My face tends to be ruddy in spots but especially on my cheeks where I have some acne scarring. All of that has disappeared and recently I'm noticing that the scaring itself seems to be filling in, flattening out, as well. My large pores are disappearing too especially on my nose, and I can see a big improvement in the texture of my skin. I also have a few small brown spots and those are even fading. I can't say I've noticed any real difference in my crow's feet or the marionette lines along my nose and mouth, but it's only been four weeks. I had been using another brand of vitamin C serum for about two years, but it definitely wasn't as strong as Obagi's Professional-C Peptide Complex and didn't have the peptides, which is the main reason I made the switch. I believe this is also the reason why I was able to start using Obagi's Professional-C Peptide Complex every other night right off the bat with minimal irritation. It does sometimes sting a little in spots, so I may skip a night and make sure I keep plenty of moisturizer on at all times, this is how I know it's much stronger than the C-serum I had been using. If you have sensitive skin, I definitely recommend taking it slow and working up to every other night over time. My plan is to eventually be able to use it daily. Yes, I highly recommend this product.
