Will not switch serums
I have used the Obagi 20% Professional serum since 2012. This, combined with other Obagi products I enjoy, has changed the overall condition of my skin. My skin had been very, dry no matter how much of the former product line I used. With Obagi, the dryness is resolved and my skin looks younger. I'm a believer!

I like the Obagi 20% C. It spreads and absorbs easily. It works well under my makeup and brightens my skin . After some IPL treatments that faded some dark spots this serum has helped keep those spots to a minimum. I have used the Skinceuticals C and E Freulic but that made my skin sticky and oily. The Skinmedica C has a slippery silicone feel when applied which I don’t love. Although I do use other Skinceutical and Skinmedica products, when it comes to the Vitamin C serum I prefer this Obagi one for my skin.

Keeps my skin happy
My skin does look more even tone and hydrated but it's hard for me to say that's purely from this serum since I use this in combination with so many other products. Almost all dermatologists recommend having a vitamin c serum in your routine so the fact that this one is from a respected brand, has a 20% L-ascorbic acid (which is higher than most) and doesn't irritate my skin makes it a keeper in my bathroom. My skin feels hydrated and dewy after I use this and products absorb nicely on top of this.

I am a 74 y.o. woman and take pretty good care of my skin. I really cannot say whether or not this is helping my skin but it definitely is not hurting it. I am a new user so too soon to tell. I like the dropper as it does not dispense more of the product than I want.

Fades freckles and gives you a subtle glow
It feels very mild on the skin, not acidic at all. After using it a few weeks, you can see your skin start to brighten. It's not a huge difference but gives you a bit of a glow and helps fade freckles and spots over time. I'm on my second bottle and plan to continue with this one.
