Give it a chance
On my second bottle of the 20% serum. My skin is fair (Irish), and I probably should have started with the 10 or 15% but went straight to this. It took awhile for the slight tingling effects to stop after I applied but eventually they did. I've used the whole Obagi line for a couple years now and believe my pores have gotten tighter since starting the serum. Recently a stranger commented that I don't even have a blemish. Thank you, Obagi.

This is a very good quality vitamin C serum that was recommended by my dermatologist! It absorbs quickly and helps to brighten up my complexion. However, my face always appears so shiny and oily and has a sticky feel to the touch every time I use it hence 4 stars. Maybe it works better if you have dry skin as it also seems to be quite moisturizing. One bottle lasts a long time because you only need a few drops each application. I recently discovered Skinmedica C & E complex and like it better than Obagi as it instantly makes my skin look smooth and matte and plays well under moisturizer & makeup. After I'm done with Obagi C serum, I'll just stick with Skinmedica C & E.

This serum was prescribed by my dermatologist. I have mature skin with some wrinkles and a few light age spots from sun damage. This serum has helped very much with all of these areas. I put it on twice a day. The silky feel is perfect as a base before I apply my make up. My face looks smoother and tighter. And my skin tone is more even and looks lighter. I love obagi products. This vitamin c serum can be used alone but my physician told me to put a couple of drops with my retin A and blend lightly with fingertip into my skin. The results over time, has helped to smooth enlarged pores, cleared clogged pores and diminish wrinkles from years of being outside. My skin has a healthy glow again. Love Obagi!!!!
