Good product, difficult to spread
I have confidence this product is giving me the protection I need. However, it is very difficult to spread and does not pair well under makeup since it is so thick.

White face sunblock
If you don't mind having a white face like a Geisha well then this sunblock offers great protection. It won't make you break out because Obagi products are made to prevent breakouts. Love the brand but would not buy this version of their sunblock again. Yes I tried to put makeup over it and still made my face look lighter than I'm comfortable with.

Not what I had hoped for
This product was a disappointment. It says that it goes on clear. That couldn’t be further from the truth. It is white and chalky. I even tried mixing it with a lotion to make it smooth/clear. That didn’t work. I should’ve returned it.

Great Mineral Sunscreen!
I received this as a sample, and I love it! I only use mineral /physical sunscreens and unlike many others, Obagi Mineral Sun shield absorbed pretty quickly and did NOT leave my skin white. It was relatively easy to apply. I primarily used on my chest and arms because I usually use tinted sunscreen on my face. I have used on my face as well, but I don’t use foundation, so not sure how it works under makeup. I gave it 4 stars only because of the price. I’d love to use it all over my body if it weren’t so expensive.

This product left my skin with a white tint. I bought it for my daily SPF facial lotion w/o chemical sunscreens. It is not very moisturizing either. It made my skin dry and a little chalky, not lifeguard nose white, but it does leave a white residue. It’s more like a sun block. I did not like it. Will not purchase again for my face.
