Good product, but prefer other
I liked this product, but I prefer to use the prescription trentinion and blend it with Obagi #5 Blend/FX. I will say that is pricey too, but it lasts quite a while with the small amount I use.

One of My Favorite Retinols
While I use another Lovely Skin retinol 1% on my face, I started using Obagi’s on brown spots on my legs after a friend told me how pleased she was with this product. I am starting to see some results already and decided to order another one recently. As most older women know, brown spots are quite resistive to most products and you need to be extremely patient before you start to see results. So far, I am seeing some fading and pleased with the results. Obagi has been around for a very long time and has always had a reputation for high quality products, and while I prefer another brand that is more effective on my face because of my fairer combination skin, this is definitely one that I would recommend for other women looking for a tried and true retinol for them.

Great product
This retinol is effective without drying out the skin. Goes in smoothly and only a small amount needed to see results. Not as effective as Retin A but also not as harsh. Would definitely try especially if you are starting a retinol in your routine.

I have been using this product about a year. In the winter months I cannot use every night. It tends to dry my face out. I alternate nights however once late spring arrives I use it every night. It goes on great and I use the Obagi blender with it.

Lovely skin
I received a sample of the obagi retinol and tried it. I really like this retinol, it is very gentle and does not dry out my skin at all. Plus it is a 1.0 retinol! The packaging is great, neat, allows you to access all of the product. One star off, only because I am not sure yet of the true benefit to my skin.

Nice and less expensive alternative for SkinMedica
Was looking for alternative for the a different retinol that I've been using for years bc I wanted to try something new and less expensive and this cream had great reviews. It's a nice product and I had no irritation at all, but I think the other product just feels nicer.

I prefer this product over last type retinol cream I was using because of the pump allowing just enough product to be distributed to finger for applying on face. It is a little drying so I use it 2 to 3 times a week an night or only when needed. I like the formula it works well for redness and irratated areas such as a clogged debris and oil.

This is good, but I prefer the neocutis brand. With either product, make sure you do not over apply, and start by doing it every other day, otherwise, your face will be a wreck! When done in the right proportions, retinol can do wonders for your skin.

Quality retinol product if a little too gentle or unremarkable in effect. Great for maintaining youthful skin but for deeper transformation, need something a bit more of a heavy hitter. May be best suited as a 0.75 cream
