This is not a serum in terms of consistency and texture
This has a cream texture which feels like dry coating when it's applied. It also flakes or pills depending on what I put over it - I have tried moisturizer, face oil and tinted moisturizer. For that reason I won't purchase it again as I really don't like flaking and I also don't like the dry feel. It did not irritate my skin at all though. This review is after 1 week of use so I don't know if it would improve my skin or not yet. I purchased it based on an article that recommended it as very effective Vitamin C serum.

Unpleasantly surprised
I absolutely love PCA products, but this one was weird. It has a very odd consistency, and I agree with the other negative reviews. Felt like I had flakes of product on my skin. I’ll be sticking with my favorite C-quench.

Not a pleasant application
The product goes on with a matte feel, but then leaves little flakes of product all over your face that don't absorb. I cannot put makeup on after using the product because it makes it look like I have a face full of dry skin that needs to be exfoliated. Not happy with the product at all.
