I have been looking at a variety both expensive and inexpensive. I am not always convinced more expensive is better. I tried the PCA Collagen Hydrator. ( I have tried other PCA products with good success). I think it has nice consistency, goes on smoothly, no odor and seems to be smoothing out fine lines. Price wise I think it is middle of the road which I like.

This is my night moisturizer. I use it every evening after my cleansing and serum routine. I'm on my second jar and I received a smaller size as part of an after-care set from my dermatologist following a chemical peel, so you know it is good! It is a little richer and thicker in consistency, and would also work for day use but there is no sunscreen in it at all, which is part of why this is a night cream for me. I'm over 50 and now leaning more towards dry skin as I age. It is a must if you live in a cold climate.

My go-to skin cream
I am 70 yrs old and since I use tretinoin, my skin can sometimes seem drier ( esp. in winter). I tried this moisturizer as a sample and was pleasantly surprised. My skin appeared more hydrated and plumped. I started using it regularly at night and found that in the morning my face looked glowing and refreshed. Now I use it both in the AM and PM. It absorbs quickly, and my makeup applies easily over it. PCA collagen hydrator has become my go to moisturizer!

Just started using this. I can already tell that it is just not hydrating enough for my dry skin. It is better when I use my hydrochloric acid serum underneath. Amazing Hydrator
I wanted to try this hydrator as per another review I read, and I'm so glad I did!! I used Triple Lipid Restore by Skinceuticals, and this product is just as good, if not better. It's also cheaper than Triple Lipid which is great for my wallet!! I use this hydrator after applying retinol, and it helps with the dryness especially in the winter months.

Best Nighttime Cream
This my go-to night cream after cleansing and applying serum. It goes on very smooth and buttery but not in a clogging way. If you live somewhere that's hot and humid, this will be too thick for you to use during the day. If you live somewhere that's a bit dryer and colder, this could probably be used during the day too during the colder winter months.
