PCA Skin Collagen Hydrator
This moisturizer has been a staple skin care product for me since I was 36. I’m 43 now soon to be 44 in less than a month. I use this after cleansing and PCA nutrient toner. Then, I apply mineral makeup with 30+ sunscreen. I had combination skin in my teens to my early 30’s. As I felt my skin was transitioning to more dry. This cream allowed for both hydrating dry areas of aging skin😱 and not breaking me out in the T-Zone that has still kept natural oils. I am currently doing hydrafacials and have recently started a 3 series (3 1/2 a week apart) of board-certified microneedling on my neck and around my eyes. After recovery and with the latest “nectar” induced serums, I still return to PCA collagen hydrator in my daily routine. It even absorbs better now a week after a microneedling procedure. It’s very effective and the expense is actually on the lesser end of a high end skin care line. People think I’m 10- years younger (I’ll attribute that to genetics, Pilates and always seeking best skin care🤗) For the record, I’m medium skin toned- Irish and Hispanic mix (Dad from Midwestern Indiana–Mom from Panama, Central America). I had some acne in my youth, some hormonal melasma, fine lines and dryness now.

My husband loves this

As more acne treatments were done on my face, I got very progressively dry. Collagen Hydrator is perfect for those with combination skin even during the summer. I really like how it sits under my foundation and I also use this after getting PCA Peels. They don't make my skin tight or give any discomfort from pretty severe peeling. Luxurious Hydration
I haven't been using this long enough to be able to tell if the collagen is doing anything because whenever I gain weight—which I unfortunately have, my wrinkles definitely diminish. And, yes, that happened. (It's my well-documented Thinner→Older/Fatter→Younger Appearance Theory.) However, this cream is incredibly thick, feels great when applied, leaves a matte finish and makes my skin feel insanely soft and hydrated. So this is my new, go-to moisturizer. Once I drop the weight, I'll see if those now somewhat-obscured wrinkles have actually diminished, but in the meantime my skin feels great and that's enough for now.
