Yes, expensive for a lip balm, but I've had mine for 6+ months and STILL have some left. I just keep it by my skincare and use it morning and night!! Other lip products just sit on the surface of my lips, but I truly feel like this penetrates deeply and actually increases hydration. I love it so much and will continue to purchase it.

I have tried quite a few lip plumper's with some success. Most of them provide some plumping but it's short lived. They are more like lip gloss with something to give you a quick pop but needs to used again and again through the day. While I haven't used it very long I am seeing really good quick results and am finding that my lips look better each day. I will continue to use it.

As soon as it goes on, it "fills" lip lines and makes lips look smoother. I am even able to put lipstick on top of it, although it does soften the color. This product is great to keep your lips moisturized at night. I don't have to wake up and reapply at all...like I used to do with other products. I do not see the benefit of plumping the lips at all. A great, but expensive, lip balm. I have re-purchased it for my bedtime use only. That's about it.
