This is a first for me with this cleanser, but have other replenix products that have worked well. I've only tried this once so far and discovered the consistency to be sort of lotion like. I do wish the scent would be unscented more. I cannot yet say what the results will be, but am hopeful. Finally, the dispensing edge was faulty like it had been melted or something, but the product does come out of the pump, so I decided to try this item. I totally appreciate that it is "medical grade" quality!

This is a gently lathering, non abrasive cleanser that still has exfoliating properties from the glycolic acid. I use it a few times a week. My husband uses it every day and feels it has helped him have far fewer ingrown hairs.

Best Glycolic Acid Facial Cleanser
I can’t say enough about this cleanser. I use it in the morning and truly feel it removes a layer of dead skin cells created by the tretinoin application the night before. It also prepares the skin for the a.m. regimen that one has chosen. It is very gentle, ph balanced, and rinses easily. A great cleanser!

Great for Treating Hyperpigmentation!
I have Fitzpatrick skin type III / IV and I don't find that the 10% glycolic acid content worsens my hyperpigmentation at all. I use it every morning and I find that it really helps reduce the post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation I get from my cystic/hormonal acne. I will say that the corners of my nose or eyes may get irritated sometimes, but I just take a break from the product for a day or so or avoid those areas when I wash my face. Great chemical exfoliant for those who suffer from acne, or for those who want to eliminate dullness and want brighter and healthier-looking complexion. Just make sure to wear your sunscreen!

Great exfoliator
I tried this after my favorite cleanser with glycolic acid and salicylic acid was discontinued. I tried to get by with the new lower ratio of 5% glycolic acid, but found that you really need 10% or higher for an effective exfoliation. This product keeps my pesky hormonal breakouts at bay while providing a bright healthy complexion. I would suggest if new to a glycolic wash to start with once a day and gradually work up to twice a day. I had some irritation starting with twice a day and I've been using some sort of glycolic acid (same brand) for years. All in all a great product.
