This is the third retinol 1.0 product that I have tried over the last year or so, and this is my favorite! I am in my late 40's with combination skin. Just follow the directions and slowly build up to every other day. If you use it everyday right away you will have serious peeling like I did. I have fair skin and have noticed a difference in tone (no more redness), pore size, firmness, a reduction in fine lines and softer wrinkles in my skin. Also, I think it is helping with hormonal break outs as well. This the third Revision product I have purchased/used and I think this my brand. Great products all around :)!

Love Revision but this one is too strong for me
I usually use Revision’s .5% Retinol Complete, but I thought I would give this stronger version a try. I have very sensitive skin. This strength just gives me too much surface peeling and some irritation. It takes about a week for the peeling to subside. I tried this several times and it just keeps happening. If you don’t have sensitive skin, give this one a try. If you do, start with the DEJ Night Face Cream and then add in the .5% Retinol Complete.

Revision Skincare Retinol Complete 1.0 works very well for my sensitive skin. It smooths and helps with texture without leaving dry, peeling patches of skin on my face. I don’t find it irritating, either. I like that it has no fragrance. The only thing that I would change about this product is the container. It’s difficult to determine when the bottle is almost empty, and the pump doesn’t come off easily to see how much is left. Because I live so far from an authorized seller, I usually run completely out before my delivery arrives. I’d love it if RS would change the packaging to address this.
