I have been using Discoloration Defense as part of a regimen from my dermatologist for 4+ years to manage melasma and post inflammatory hyperpigmentation after IPL. DD contains Tranexemic acid which blocks formation of melanin. It has worked well, keeping my skin pigmentation even and fading some of the pigment. It is a very light serum and absorbs quickly.
