Terrible product
I used this serum for about two months and it did absolutely NOTHING. I got frustrated to see no results that I ended up disposing. Definitely will never buy again and it is not worth that high price. It states it could help those stubborn spots well that’s what am trying to get rid off and no results. Such a waste of money.

On the days when I’ve had a lot of sun exposure, I make sure to put some of this on. My skin hasn’t developed more dark spots recently, so I guess it’s been effective. It hasn’t burned or make my skin react, so that’s another plus for me.

I like it. I'm not sure it works as well as I had hoped but it does do some minimizing of spots. I also have melasma so not all of my areas of darkness can be treated. The individual spots - non melasma related - have some fade to them, but it's not as much as I was hoping for. Maybe my expectations were too high.

Good but still stubborn sun spots
I like the discoloration defense and use it with CE Ferulic and other Skinceuticals products. It does a good job of lightening sun damage but the deeper damage then shows up more againsts the clearer skin. I have BBL treatments once or twice a year to go after those stubborn spots. Patience....

Lightened some dark spots
I'm on my second bottle and I feel like it has definitely lightened up some heavy dark spots I had. I have a really bad dark spot above my lip which started to look like a mustache. I became very insecure about it because makeup just made it worse. I feel like this product has really lightened it up. It's still there but not as bad as it was when I first started using this product a year ago.
