Gentle yet effective
Great toner , I have used it for years ,, would have given 5 stars but they changed the packaging and I’m not a fan of it , it used to come in a spray bottle so much easier to use and not wasteful .

Toner Great, New Packaging Wasteful
I was a faithful user of SkinCeuticals toner for years. It came in an easy-to-use spray bottle that dispensed just the right amount of excellent product in a dispersed spray onto a cotton pad for cleansing. For reasons I can't imagine, the container was changed and I really dislike it. You have to pour product out and it is very hard to control the amount. The cotton pad gets soaked or it drips and product is wasted. Luckily when I received this order I still had the former spray bottle and transfered product into it. I haven't ordered it since.

Good Product
I like this toner because it doesn't have a scent and removes all the residue that your cleanser does not. The only reason I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is because they give you less product than they did a few years ago. It also used to come in a convenient spray bottle.

Gentle on skin
The other SC toner I was using would sting a bit. So I tried this one and I like it better. Not so harsh. I use Retin-a so sometimes my skin is a bit irritated in spots. This feels comfortable and mild.

SkinCeuticals Equalizing Toner seems to me from just a few uses so far, to be a purifying/clarifying toner for me, making my combination/sensitive skin a bit reddened and dry. However, it is also cold winter here so it may be more soothing and appropriate for me in the hot summer. It is seeming to help clear up a family member's acne though.

The best toner I’ve ever used!
I love SkinCeuticals and have tried several of their toners as well as many, many high end skincare line toners. The equalizer toner is by far the best for the purpose of a toner and it’s effectiveness. It’s so important to balance your skin’s PH after cleansing and this specific toner does that as well as removing any leftover soap or oils, etc. I can see and feel a difference when I use this toner rather than other brands and the others I’ve tried in SkinCeuticals line. If it helps to know my skin type, it’s combination. I wish SkinCeuticals would switch back to their old or previous packaging/bottles used to hold and dispense their toners and facial cleansers. The current toner bottle and current cleanser bottles waste so much product and easy to spill as well as leak. I don’t know why they made the change, but they seriously need to listen to their customers and go back to the previous packaging/bottles. Frustrating! Luckily for the brand, their product is too good not to use or I would look else where just to limit the annoying messes made from their bottles leaking and save money by purchasing a product that stays in the dispensing bottle until I use it. SkinCeuticals, please change the bottles for your toners and facial cleansers back to the previous version. The new bottles/dispensers are horrible!
