Perfect for sensitive skin and eyes
My skin and eyes are so sensitive that I was crushed when my facial cleanser was recently discontinued. My skin is sensitive to practically every product I've tried in recent years. I looked everywhere for a possible replacement. I'm so glad that I tried the Skinceuticals gentle cleanser calming cream. There is no discernible scent. It removes my makeup. I don't wear mascara and and my other makeup is not particularly difficult to remove, other than my under eye cover up cream that is waterproof. This calming cream removes it very easily without irritating my eyes. I use the cleaner once a day. It leaves my skin soft and calm but I do apply a barrier repair moisturizer after I've cleaned my skin. I apply a moisturizing CC cream after that. This cleanser plays well with makeup. It doesn't leave any shine on my face or distort the color/ texture of my CC cream.

I find this Skinceuticals gentle cleanser to be my favorite. It works for my dry/dehydrated mature skin. It has a slight citrus scent to it. Works great for my sensitivity issues. It on the thick side but I emulsify it and then apply to face and neck.

I was surprised by how much I liked this. I’m really picky about trying new face cleansers. My skin has become rather fragile, but I still need for it to feel really clean. Gentle Calming Cleanser
Have used this cleanser for a number of years. When I run out I will sometime try something else. Not the same. SkinCeuticals Cleanser Cream is sooo much better. Not trying and just feels so good to wash your face with. Will not use another brand. Worth the money, especially for mature skin, which has a tendency to become dry as we age.
