Pairs well with Retinol
This product feels extremely silicone-y and you can definitely feel a film settle over your skin after using it. However, this product paired with retinol is *chef’s kiss*. Using this before or after a retinol greatly reduced my symptoms of irritation and dryness. It’s also super hydrating! Very lightweight in texture but packs a punch. I believe that it truly helped repair my skin barrier too.

This product was backordered by the manufacturer, and I decided to be patient and wait for it to come in (LovelySkin was remarkable about keeping me informed and offering to refund my money if I did not want to wait). I have only been using it morning and night for nearly a month now. I had a special issue with my skin for over 5 1/2 months, and none of the 9 doctors I saw had any idea what to do. I bought this back in June to help with sunspots, anti-aging and moisture now that I’m in my late twenties. I love how smooth the product is and it’s not heavy at all. It has helped make my skin glow. One downside is the packaging. I thought I was finished with the bottle since nothing was coming out of the pump. But after 5 minutes of struggling to open the bottle I realized there was a clog in the giant tube they put inside. I had even ordered more. Be careful if you throw away your bottles without opening them! It’s worth the struggle. Can’t let this stuff go to waste!!
