I just started using a serum this year. I am 33 years old. I've been using this in the AM after cleansing. I do tend to get oily and my oiliness seems worse on days I use this. I recently switched to doing this nightly instead of morning and I live my skin better now.

Worth the price
I used to use the SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic, which I also loved. But I tried this because it was supposed to correct existing damage, in addition to preventing more damage. I just have birth a year ago and still had some pretty significant melasma which was not going away. It’s not all gone, but there was a MAJOR improvement when I switched to this product. It also helps reduce my breakouts and keeps my skin softer without needing to use as much heavy moisturizer. I’m definitely a believer in this stuff.

Better than its cousin
I have been using CE Ferulic for 18 months or so now. It made my skin look great but I did not like the feel or the oiliness. I did quite a bit of research and found that men often like Phloretin CF better. I have to agree. My skin is smooth and not oily at all. I can only kick myself for not doing better research earlier. I highly recommend this product for men.

I love this stuff!
A little goes a very long way—usually lasts about 6 months. It absorbs quickly and, while heavier than the gel form, it doesn't feel greasy. I usually use the gel form in the summer and the serum in winter but the serum last much longer than the gel. I notice my skin tone is more even and looks brighter.

I used the gel version of this product in the past and loved it. When that ran out, I bought it instead. I was worried the serum would break me out, as I have sensitive skin. It did at first but not drastically. Now that my skin has acclimated to the serum, I don’t have the breakouts and my skin seems to have a glow more than usual. I like the dropper on this as well and prefer it to the pump that the gel version has. It goes on easily and dries to a great finish before applying a moisturizer. I wear it everyday and will be buying it again!

Better than SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic Antioxidant Serum for oily skin. I used the SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic Antioxidant Serum on a recommendation from my aesthetician. I liked it ok but noticed my skin would be oily looking right after application. I saw this on LovelySkin, so I called and talked to someone about it, and they recommend that I try the Phloretin CF. I am so glad I did. It is not oily and greasy looking on my face and I can tell a big difference since I started using it. Both serums are great for fading dark spots. Amazing product to keep in your regimen!
I love almost everything I’ve ever used from the SkinCeuticals brand, but this serum and the C E Ferulic serum are holy grails and really should be used by everyone. They are simply too good not to have in your skin care regimen. I really like this serum for removing dark spots and hyperpigmentation, as well as any marks from breakouts or old scars. I rotate this in every few bottles with the C E Ferulic. I tend to use this more in summer months to prevent any sun spots from forming or becoming more visible from being in the sun. It’s a toss up between my favorite between the 2 serums. Both are best of the best, holy grail, can’t live without products, in my opinion, so I choose both!

Great for Tired, Dull, Dry Skin
I absolutely vouch and champion this product. It is a weird smell, but that's okay because it works wonders. I use SkinMedica's, TNS Essential Serum daily, and have for the past 5 years. The TNS also has an odd smell, but it works. I started using the Phloretin CF serum as a booster to my TNS routine. I can say that I can tell a difference in the luminosity of my skin and there is some tightening factors as well. All skin care products are not created equal and no skin care products are miracle potions, but the two I mentioned, SkinMedica TNS Essential Serum & SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF Antioxidant Serum, are great products and the best I have found on the market to enhance the look of your skin.

Love this vitamin C serum because it goes on smoothly, doesn’t sting and does not leave a tacky film. Any products I put on afterwards are not effected by the Phloretin CF. Best of all, I feel that I’m protecting my skin without the burden of a heavy base layer product.
