The one and only vitamin C serum for my acne prone skin
I have been using this Serum 10 for 7 years now. It is the only L-ascorbic acid serum that doesn't make my skin break out. This serum is super lightweight, with a watery texture that doesn't add a heavy feeling to my skin. I can see great results after using it—brighter, fewer acne issues. My skin type is oily and acne-prone, so I can't tolerate heavy-textured skincare products; they tend to make me break out. I understand the importance of vitamin C for my skin, especially in the morning before applying sunscreen. I've tried 10 different brands of vitamin C serums, including SkinCeuticals' own pricier options like CEF, PCF, Silymarin CF. Even though Silymarin CF claims to be for acne-prone skin, it actually makes me break out more. I've also tried many others from different brands. While they are well-formulated, they just don't work for my skin type. After trying vitamin C serums ranging from $188 to $28, I still come back to this one. My mom, who has dry skin, can use many different brands and textures of vitamin C serum. For me, with acne-prone skin, it's tricky to find the right one. If you have acne-prone skin, you'll understand what I'm talking about. Even though I sometimes want to try something else, I always come back to this serum. It may seem boring, but my skin seems very loyal to it.

Serum 10 Works for Me
I tried CE Ferulic Acid and this Serum. I think this one is a better fit because it has a little bit lighter consistency. I do get a tingling sensation when I apply it, but it’s only for a few seconds. It dries down fast and my morning routine goes quickly. My skin is also clearing up after using this for a few weeks.
