Very gentle Vitamin C serum
This is the first L-ascorbic acid serum that I've been able to use, as I have fussy, sensitive mature skin, but it's been very gentle and non-irritating so far! As others have said, it's easy to use, absorbs well, and if used consistently, over time it will improve the appearance of your skin. I'm so glad that I tried it :-)

Very light and gentle on my skin
My skin broke out using CE Ferulic and other brands of CE serum. I made an inquiry when watching a SkinCeuticals Zoom session about this and they recommended Serum 10. I am so glad I asked and am very happy with this product. I plan on reordering it when I run out as it has caused no inflammation, discomfort or breakouts!

I have been using this serum for a couple of weeks and it's the first thing I apply after cleansing in the morning. It is a very thin liquid so spreads easily. After it dries, I apply my moisturizer and sunblock and feel my skin is protected for the day!

Non sticky serum
I like that this serum is not sticky as most serums. It brightens my complexion, and it seems like it helps with discoloration as well. It's quite liquidy, so it's a bit hard to apply.

Good for Sensitive Skin
In my experience, this is a wonderful C serum for oily sensitive skin (also prone to acne). Not sticky and fast absorbed. I bought another as a gift to my mother who has very sensitive skin (she's in her 80's) and she has no problem at all. In fact, she wants to try a higher version now, we'll see...

A higher vitamin C concentration is preferable!
AOX 10 is good if you’ve just begun your vitamin C regimen! I am now using a higher concentration! The texture is watery (not thick!) so you don’t really feel it acting on the skin…!

My skin seems to love the product, and I could see a brightening effect right away. I use it about 2-3 times a week alternating it with a retinol, glycolic and hyaluronic acid serum. Will strongly consider a secondary purchase.

Smells strange?
I'm a huge fan of vit. C in my skincare routine, and as much as I wanted to splurge on the CE ferulic, I thought I'd try this one first since I'm just starting to use skinceuticals prodcuts.. I found this serum to be very lightweight, and absorb nicely, but smells almost like bacon grease?? Very strange and unpleasant at first, but it does fade/dissipate/absorb nicely. Not sure I would buy it again though...

I’ve started using the 10X Serum about 2 weeks ago. The serum stays put on my face while sleeping and I can use sunscreen and make up over it during the day. I am in my sixties with sensitive skin and rosacea with no negative effects. I have taken care of my skin for years with low sun exposure and believe my skin is looking clearer and overall better.
