I have used a lot of sunscreens -- both mineral and chemical. I am always looking for the perfect sunscreen that protects my skin and does not give me a chalky white coating on my face. I prefer mineral sunscreens over chemical. I have tried many but, this one is my favorite for my face. It goes on smoothly, does not feel drying, leaves no chalky white coating and is not shiny. I think I'm going to give up on finding a sunblock that is REALLY sheer and lightweight, as well as non-greasy. Every product that I try that makes these claims, disappoints. This is a good sunscreen in terms of protecting your skin from sun damage, but it's not great if you want to have a perfect complexion. It leaves a white cast on the skin and it's a bit thick and greasy. I'm using it on weekends when we're out "playing," but I won't use it on a work day since it is too thick to wear with makeup. It seems as much as I want to avoid them, chemical sunscreens are truly the only non-greasy sheer options out there.
