SkinMedica tinted sunscreen
It is too dark for my skin and it doesn’t apply as smooth as I’m used to with other tinted sunscreens. In order to use it I’ve been mixing it with other sunscreens for a lighter shade and smoother application. I will not buy again or recommend for fair skin.

It works but gets uncomfortable
As the day wears on, if I don't sweat and am mostly in A/C the color oxidizes over time and it is right on the edge of being too dark when I put it on. Then it also gets dry and uncomfortable. This isn't the kind of product you can put moisturizer over. It is my moisturizer/foundation under color cosmetics.

I wanted to try something new in sunscreens and gave this brand a go, but it does not. Blend well and also the product was really dark for my skin tone. I mixed it with the untinted one, which leaves white marks and does not blend well either and then achieved a good color, but again, it would not absorb. Instead, it pills no matter the amount applied. I am sure the ingredients are beneficial in addition to good sun protection, but the color and texture after application made me regret this purchase. I will go back to my old faithful Elta MD SPF 46.

Love all SkinMedica products, so I was a little bummed by this one. Great for SPF coverage but add another moisturizer underneath to ensure you’re getting the hydration you need.

Comes off with sweat or tears
I tend to be an overly-emotional person and am prone to crying (cute dog commercials, a really good movie trailer, you get the idea). One single tear down my cheek will cause this tinted sunscreen to come off. Dabbing away a tear will cause the color to transfer to a tissue. Not a problem if you don't cry much, but could be a problem if you sweat a lot. I definitely wouldn't want to spend a hot day outside with this stuff on - all of it will end up on your sleeve/tissue/whatever-you-dab-away-sweat-with instead of on your face! And, I have been worried that if the color is coming off, is the sunscreen component also coming off?! Other than this issue, I did like the feel and very light coverage of this stuff. I used up my whole bottle, but won't be purchasing again.

Tinted Version is Too Dark
I have used the un-tinted version of this product and really liked it so thought I would try the tinted version for summer. I like the protection and added benefits of using this sunscreen but the tinted version is too dark and looks orange on my medium skin tone. I will not purchase this again.

Tint too dark
I was surprised at how dark the tint is on this sunscreen. I am usually between light and medium and this was definitely on the darker end of medium. I mix it with the untinted to lighten it up.
