I love how this moisturizer is lightweight and absorbs quickly. The latter is a must when getting dressed for work. Barely a fragrance making it even better. The best lightweight moisturizer!
I love this stuff, never breaks me out, always light and refreshing for skin. Calms sensitive skin. I like to use it under my sunscreen during the day. It is a lightweight cream so if you have very dry skin it may not be for you. However I use my ceramic cream and retinol at night and Ultra sheer moisturizer under sunscreen most days. My Favorite Summer Moisturizer!
Having been an esthetician for years I've use a lot of high end skincare and I've found SkinMedica's Ultra Sheer Moisturizer the best for humid and/or hot days. I normally wear a more emollient moisturizer in wintertime but switch to this one for summer. I wear mineral makeup and this moisturizer keeps me hydrated without the shine so my minerals stay looking fresh all day. I also added just a drop of it with my SkinMedica 1.0 Retinol during the first phase of using a stronger retinol while my skin was adjusting to the rapid cell turnover so it did not appear too scaly the next morning when applying my makeup. I can add a drop to thin out my liquid makeup when I want a more natural look. It lasts a long time and the squeeze tube helps eliminate any waste. It's great!

I live in South Florida where are air feels heavy and humid all year long! Wearing any kind of moisturizer is adding a layer to the skin that often just makes me feel hotter. This moisturizer is exactly what I needed!!! My skin is drying out because of medications and this is perfect to keep it hydrated but not add the weight of a typical moisturizer. If somehow this weight could still have SPF in it - this would be the G.O.A.T. I'd highly recommend ~ you will not be disappointed!
