I’ve been using retinols that are a .5 and doing very well with them however I wanted a change and Retivance was recommended to me as a good alternative by the LovelySkin care staff. Retivance goes on very creamy, feels great on your skin, spreads well and you do not need a lot of product. It also dries into your skin quickly. It causes no irritation. You can use it daily. The reason I gave it three stars is because I do not feel it works as well as the retinol I was using that was .5%, which I was able to use daily and caused no irritation either. I am not going to continue using it.

I didn't love the consistency of this....it's somewhere between a gel and cream. The consistency made it hard to tell how it was spreading and where on my face it was being applied. I do believe that it has made my skin brighter.

Nice Cream Neutral Opinion
The cream seems to sit on top of your skin versus penetrating the surface. For sensitive skin it is a solid choice because there is no irritation. Neutral on whether it reduces redness.
