Was amazing for four years and then caused contact dermatitis
Until recently, I would have given this product 5 stars. Before trying it for the first time, I read several reviews about rashes and hoped it wouldn't happen to me. And it didn't! I used Teamine morning and night all around the eye without issue for 4 years and it was wonderful. Hydrating, but not greasy, and really took care of my mild dark circles. Scent was very light, pleasant, and dissipated after application. No bad reactions. After my most recent repurchase, I thought it felt and smelled a little different than normal. I chalked it up to it simply being a new jar. Within the first two days, I realized I had developed dry, red patches under each eye. I convinced myself it was due to a new face wash, which I stopped using, but I also discontinued use of the Teamine and replaced it with healing ointments to get back to normal. Once healed, I began using the Teamine again and it seemed okay for a few days, but then the same patches returned, and the skin on my upper eyes started to get red, too. Discontinued again and went back to healing ointments for a while. I figured it had to be the Teamine, but hoping I was wrong (and I truly wanted to be), I gave it one more chance. On the third attempt, though, I didn't have to wait for days—I had an immediate burning sensation when I applied the Teamine. I do not know whether they altered some of the ingredients, or if sources for some ingredients changed, or if I somehow grew intolerant of the product, but I cannot use it anymore. I've given it a 2-star rating as an acknowledgment that not everyone is sensitive to it and that it might be a great product for some.

This was recommended by my friend who has been using it for years and has really great results. It's thin, absorbs well, not irritate my eyes. However, after several uses, I noticed my wrinkles under my eyes look more visible, which is terrifying me. I think this will be holy grail for one that has not much problems under eyes with continue use, like my friend. For me, I just don't want to risk it. Another star for LovelySkin, really great customer service and no hassle return.

This product was highly rated. I researched it a lot. I don't typically have sensitive skin, but I do get dark circles under my eyes. I used this product twice a day for about 8 weeks, but instead of getting rid of my dark circles, my skin became red and irritated. It burned when I put on my basic moisturizer and hurt to touch it. It felt like a raw rash of dry, irritated skin. Unfortunately, I had to quit using it. But in the weeks since I've stopped, my skin has returned to normal. Red irritation is gone. And I still have my dark circles.

Unfortunately, this is my first time trying this eye cream, and it wasn't good! I'll be going back to my old standbys. The skin around my eyes is very dry and even red. Not what I hoped for
I was very hopeful about this product. It was recommended by my dermatologist for under eye puffiness, but she also stated that some see results and some don't. Well after an online chat with the csr, which was very friendly and very helpful, I gave this product 3 months to work and sadly, I have seen no changes. I gave it a 2 because the texture is nice and the smell is ok and the rep was friendly. I would order again from LovelySkin, just not this product.

I have tried to use this product, but each time, I get dark red splotches and circles under my eyes, where ever its applied. Ive stopped use, then reapplied after the redness clears to make sure its this product causing the reaction, and it is. Hate it, b/c Ive heard such good reviews. Cant use it.

Instead, it caused eczema - the skin below my eyes became red, puffy and extra wrinkly, and then after a week or so began flaking off (while remaining red, puffy and wrinkly). I wasn't positive at first that it was from this product, since it seemed to affect one eye more than the other, but after discontinuing use and allowing my skin to fully heal, I used it one night and woke up the next morning with the same problem. Oh well.
