nice gentle shampoo
I have long thick hair and tried this shampoo, without conditioner, to see how it did. It lathered well, cleaned my hair and left it soft and not tangled. It is advertised as a cleansing shampoo to remove minerals, etc, but also gentle on the scalp. Seems to work well.

Gentle shampoo that cleans your hair while being kind to sensitive scalp. Have to get used to low suds, but sudsy doesn’t equal “clean” even though we’ve all been conditioned to think so.

I've used the Vanicream three times for my itchy scalp. It stops the itch for two days each time I wash my hair (twice a week). So I get four days relief each week with little to no itch. This is the best shampoo I've used to stop the itch.
